INTRODUCTION
TO THE TOEFL
HULLO!
TOEFL = TEST OF ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
This test
was created as a means to verify a candidates’ ability to use American English
at a graduate and post-graduate level.
The test has
quite a long history and has evolved from a paper-based format through a
computer based format to its present day Internet-based format. (TOEFL IBT)
The level
of the test has also evolved; it has gradually become more demanding.
It is
highly recommended that candidates prepare
before actually taking the test.
This Blog
is posted with the intention of helping the various students to prepare themselves
for the demands of this Test, so that they actually have some previous
knowledge of what that will be expected of them.
The
function of this page is to provide an index of the various posts as they are
published
You will be
able to find all the links that refer specifically to the TOEFL, right here!
I hope this
will be of use to you and that you participate with me in this adventure!
See you on
